The iPhone 11 Pro Max was released a full year after the iPhone XR and was the biggest and best phone of that release, the iPhone XR was the most affordable phone for its release, so how do these two compare? While the iPhone XR might not set your heart aflutter it’s an excellent phone and easily able to do what most people need. The iPhone 11 Pro Max measures 158 x 77.8 mm and weighs 32 g more. The iPhone XR also has an excellent battery life, around 33 hours of average use.

What does the iPhone 11 Pro max have that the iPhone XR doesn’t? Well, it’s made from stainless steel instead of aluminum so it’s tougher than the iPhone XR, it also has more memory, 4 GB Ram, and a faster processor, the A13 bionic. It has a total of 4 x 12 MP rear cameras and offers 2 x optical zoom, an ultra-wide, and a telephoto lens. It also has a 12 MP front camera with True Depth technology and 4K video. Those pics of your loved ones just got an upgrade.  In addition, the iPhone 11 Pro Max has an even longer battery life, around 4 hours more than the iPhone XR, and it’s enabled for Wi-Fi 6.

There’s no denying that the iPhone 11 Pro Max is a more advanced phone, but if you’re looking to save a bit of cash, you can’t go far wrong with the iPhone XR.
