Overall: I was a little hesitant purchasing a refurbished MacBook, but don't be! Getting a refurbished MacBook M3 was a really great process with Back Market. I needed a laptop for my freelance business and getting a refurbished one is a great way to start to minimise your starting costs. It arrived in amazing condition. The device looked practically brand new. Well it did after I wiped it it down and gave it a clean. I got the second grade one due to availability but I was not disappointed. The Apple box it came it was a bit dinged up but not a problem. The money saved has really made a difference and would recommend the service to anyone.

What disappointed me was the unethical practice of placing a “No Return if Removed” sticker over a hidden additional damage. This felt deceptive and unprofessional, as it prevented me from fully assessing the laptop’s condition before committing to keeping it. Transparency is crucial when selling refurbished or pre-owned devices. If the company had been upfront about the actual condition, I would have still considered the purchase but with the right expectations. Other than this issue, I’m happy with the laptop itself and hope it lasts me a long time. I just wish the customer experience had been more honest and professional.

The MacBook arrived in fair condition as described, though I was initially disappointed to find several scratches on the back and corners. Well, yeah, I shouldn't have expected a miracle for a refurbished device. But the real surprise came when I powered it up - it actually has double the storage capacity I paid for! This unexpected bonus not only relieved my initial disappointment but completely made my day.

All I can say - they delivered! The laptop looks Good, as I have bought a "Good" state. No obvious signs of wear, unless you start really looking for some, yes you might find a tiny bumps on the edges, but otherwise very happy with such a powerful piece of kit for such a sweet price tag. Being sick of prices of everything raising by the minute, this was actually a nice experience overall. Will definitely continue this new tradition of refurbished tech purchasing. I have bought several laptops, desktops and tablets from Back Market. This one was for my partner. She's and using it now and is well pleased with it. Of all the back Market products so far only one failed and it was replaced with a better, newer one which I am currently typing this on. I will (as they say) be back, probably for a reconditioned iWatch.

I was blown away by the condition of my new macbook! Not a scratch on it and works like a dream! I've always bought my tech refurbished, but I've never known a quality like this. I traded in my old macbook and the service was quick and easy to navigate. Highly recommend and will definitely be using Back Market again!

When I initially opened the box I was slightly disappointed at the condition (I ordered excellent) but quickly realised it is 4 years old & refurbished after all- brand new quality comes at brand new prices. There are some marks on the screen (maybe from where there’s been stickers) but everything works as it should, it’s rapid, & mainly has no problem keeping up with my work load - Recording bands etc Absolutely love this machine & would recommend Backmarket to anyone!
