I needed to get a new phone. For cost and environmental reasons I looked at a refurbished pre owned. Chose the model I wanted to upgrade to, then it was just a case of deciding on the memory and condition of the phone. I chose ‘Fair’ Condition because the difference in price between fair and immaculate was £200. My phone arrived quickly and in the time scale advised. The condition was much better than I had been expecting. Altogether I was delighted with my choice, the service, the price and delivery. A no brainer decision - win, win, win! Don’t dither - go for it.

The phone looked refurbished and in very good condition however i was expecting the camera quality to be better. But I don't know if this is just the iPhone 14 or this was because of Black Market but not what I was expecting in that aspect

The phone is to be expected being in fair condition, there was no dirt only scratches I just found out but that's to be expected being fair, the battery is not lasting as long but will keep an eye on it, otherwise my Son is Very pleased with his Apple iPhone 14, I do Reccomend Back Market, if I need a new phone I will be choosing Back Market!

After a few issues with Backmarket they eventually resolved them now my iPhone 14 is ok it froze during a update took while to sort after going on the Apple website but all good now yes I do like my IPhone 14 from Backmarket so all good.

Received on time and now functioning as full replacement for my old iPhone 8 (return for trade in of which I do have questions which I've just posted online). 1/10 for the carrier For the benefit of other customers, you might want to tell the Royal Mail who delivered the package that though I knew there was a possibility no-one would be at home to receive it, I didn't expect it to be left leaning against the bottom of my front door, in full view of pedestrians walking past my house. The porch has a generous recess on the left and right hand side where things can't be seen from the pavement, but astonishingly this was ignored. The package could easily have been seen by someone with less than honest intentions, and stolen. After all, it was small and "smartphone-shaped", and as such quite nickable!

Apologies that this review has taken so long to do. I am delighted with my iPhone 14. It is in excellent condition and was speedily dispatched after I placed the order I have recommended Back Market to friends and will be very happy to order another iPhone when this one needs to be replaced. The payment for the trade in iPhone was received several days before it was expected. Thank you for the excellent service.

Not my first rodeo. I find buying a refurbished phone better value for me and the environment. The process is simple, fast and reliable. I got a fair trade-in price for my iPhone XR and back market covered the postage.

I purchased the phone in “good condition” and received a phone which worked fine but had scratches on the screen which means it is “fair condition”. Nothing terrible, but noticeable, and not the grade I paid for. Was offered £60 compensation or to return the phone. I needed the phone so didn’t want to return it. However, the compensation was lower than the £85 price difference between “good” and “fair” condition. This means that the seller pockets £25 for having sold a phone that was the wrong grade. Backmarket said they would try to get more compensation, but then reverted back to me to say they couldn’t compensate more than £60 as this went outside of policy. Unless Backmarket policy changes compensation to match the difference in grade prices, then they are continuing a situation where customers who can’t afford to return a phone get penalised for the seller’s mis-grading. Please fix this to avoid accidental or unscrupulous sellers taking advantage. Sellers could try and get away with mis-grading to make an extra £85, knowing that the worst they will get is a return, and even if the customer does complain, they still make an extra £25.
