    I bought a 2017 MacBook Pro as I need a quick replacement of my old 2013 MacBook Air as it wasn't receiving updates anymore. I have never ordered refurbished before and I have to say I am very impressed. So far I've had no issues with the MacBook, it came with minimal scratches and what appeared to be a brand new charger. Delivery was 2 days sooner than expected so I had it in time for New Year. I would highly recommend and will look forward to doing business with you in the future.

    I am delighted with my purchase. The MacBook came in excellent condition, just as described. Well packed with accompanying accessories (Charger). I had to wait a month to rate this order and it’s been sunshine so far. However the cable that came with the MacBook was not compatible, and it wasn’t charging when it arrived. £20 investment on a new cable and it’s been happy ever after. I bought a similar MacBook from another refurbisher on BackMarket and I had to return it, however this refurbisher renewed my faith in Back Market, Overall satisfied with my purchase.

    Overall happy with the MacBook, my only issue is that once I had set it up I was already told the battery needed servicing. Even for just a fair quality product, I’d expect the battery to be tested and replaced when refurbishing?

    My macbook 2020 13.3 - inch 16GB SSD 512 QWERTY arrived today and it was in good condition. Looked brand new with barely any scratches. Hard to tell it has been refurbished (I ordered good). Initially had challenges with mac not coming on but was able to fix that quickly following the online support instructions. Super pleased with the excellent service and smooth process.     When I initially opened the box I was slightly disappointed at the condition (I ordered excellent) but quickly realised it is 4 years old & refurbished after all- brand new quality comes at brand new prices. There are some marks on the screen (maybe from where there’s been stickers) but everything works as it should, it’s rapid, & mainly has no problem keeping up with my work load - Recording bands etc Absolutely love this machine & would recommend Backmarket to anyone!

The 2014 MacBook Pro models were released by Apple in late 2013 and early 2014. These laptops were available in 13-inch and 15-inch sizes and with a variety of specification configurations. For their time, the 2014 MacBook Pro laptops were powerful and well-equipped, making them suitable for intense creative work and some gaming. They were also a popular choice among consumers for their high-quality build and high-resoultion display.

2014 MacBook Pro 13" vs 15"

The 13" MacBook Pro 2014 has a sharp 13.3-inch Retina display and a range of processor options, including a 2.6GHz dual-core Intel Core i5, a 2.8GHz dual-core Intel Core i5, up to a 3.0GHz dual-core Intel Core i7. It comes with at least 8GB RAM and 128GB - 1TB of storage. It's fairly compact and lightweight, measuring 0.71 inches in height, 12.35 inches in width, and 8.62 inches in depth, and weighing 3.46 pounds. 

The 15" MacBook Pro 2014 has a similar display that measures 15.4 inches It is powered by a quad-core Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB of RAM with a storage capacity of 256GB - 1TB. It is also pretty lightweight at just 4.46 pounds and measures 1.8 x 35.89 x 24.71 cm.

Whether you're using it for work, school, or entertainment, the MacBook Pro is a great choice. Even better is a cheap MacBook Pro which is the case when you buy the still-capable 2014 model. 

Is a MacBook Pro from 2014 still good?

We do admit: technology advances quickly so a MacBook Pro from 2014 may not be able to keep up with more demanding tasks or newer software as well as a newer MacBook could. Additionally, features like battery life may not be as long compared to newer models that benefit from processing efficiency and newer batteries.

However, an older MacBook Pro can still be good provided it was maintained well and its hardware is still sound. Some of the models from 2014 had relatively powerful specifications for the time, including 4th or 5th generation Intel Core processors and up to 16GB of RAM. These features could be sufficient for many tasks even still today.
